Casing deformation and standoff software description

While Running In Hole (RIH), the casing string is deflected inside the borehole, depending primarily on wellbore tortuosity and centralization program. This deflection may substantially impact the well trajectory DLS. Casing Deformation & Standoff is a new generation module that accounts for deflection for trajectory reconstruction. It is based on a robust scientific stiff string model. This module is very useful during drill string operations (RIH, POOH, Drilling), casing running, cementing operition and well positioning.
